Beach Huts and Dreams
We went to our favourite beach today - Hengistbury Head.
When Oliver was a baby we used to often walk from the car park at Hengistbury Head around to the expensive beach huts and more secluded areas of beach that look across to Mudeford Quay.
Gary and I used to talk about what it would be like to own one of the beach huts, how we would have overnight adventures with the children, BBQ's and drinks watching the sun go down.
We still enjoy that dream.
Today though was all about running on the sand with the children, and the children sliding down sand dunes that seem to have grown larger since last summer.
Issy's boots were full of sand when we came home.
Here's our beach huts. Hope everyone's enjoyed the sunshine today.
