Sinking Sun

On my way back home tonight the sun began setting through the clouds - and so thoughts turned to blip as I had not taken a single picture all day.

It became a bit of a race to find somewhere to stop where I could see the sun and have something interesting to include (not too much on the way out of York!)

Finally found a place where I could see a line of trees to make a silhouette and then only had about 5 minutes before it disappeared completely. Managed to expose with enough light in the sky and retain enough details in the sun to be able see the disc through the cloud!

Phew - made it.
