Burning the old bits

As some of you know, we've been clearing out our loft. We've recycled, charity shopped, thrown away and now we're onto the bits of wood that originally were used for boarding out the loft - bits of old wardrobe in the main. We decided that they need burning and today was such a nice day by the time the afternoon came that we made a start!

It burnt really well leaving we only managed to do less than half of it. There's something very compelling about a bonfire.

When you do something, you should burn yourself up completely, like a good bonfire, leaving no trace of yourself.
