An Unexpected Stop

This is the wall of water outside Sheffield station.

I wasn't supposed to be going to Sheffield today, I was going to a meeting in West Bromwich.

A broken down train and then a landslide prevented me from getting to the meeting on time so I got off the train at Sheffield and turned around to go home.

It took me 5 hours to travel from home to Sheffield and back again - a journey I could drive in a 3 hour round trip.
