Blossom in the Park

We attempted to get to Stowe today before closing and again we failed!
After a lazy morning and a yummy lunch of sausages, mash and gravy we faffed around for hours before actually setting off.
We discovered the Colourful Penguin game and let me tell you if you fancy a frustrating hour or two this is the game for you!!
Miss E did so well with it - refusing to give up no matter how impossible it seemed.
Level twenty four was when I had to call for the cavalry. Mr K was naturally far better than me.
So the family gaming session meant that we weren't dressed and ready until 2pm.
Then we had to go to the Post Office to get a passport photo for Miss E. Having known for months that she needs a new passport we've naturally left it to the last few weeks to sort it out......
And naturally the Post Office was closed by the time we got there!
So we searched high and low in Buckingham to find a photo booth and found out that there was one in Tescos all along. Hiding down the back where we never go!
Miss E looks like a poorly albino but at least it's done.
Now we just have to get them countersigned, fill out the seventy five million page application form, re-mortgage our house and get the forms in the post on Monday. Simple!
By the time we'd got the photo it felt a bit late to go to Stowe so we went to Padbury park instead and had a lovely couple of hours in the glorious sunshine.
Mr C - Miss E's friend from school - was there with his dad so we had fun with them.
Then it was home for the Little Misses' dinner, back to Padbury park because Miss E had left her butterfly net there, back to Tescos for ginger and red chillies, home for more Colourful Penguins and a delicious chicken and ginger stir fry.
Shortly I will be having a pineapple and coconut yoghurt.
If I close my eyes I can imagine I'm back by the pool again......
