Home-grown Goodies

Over at the allotment this afternoon, Pete had being preparing the ground for onions and I joined him later on to cut down the autumn fruiting raspberries.


He had picked a wonderfully colourful selection to bring home which I thought would look good set off against his freshly dug ground :-)
What with fruit yesterday and veg today what incredibly healthy blipping!!!


From left to right :- Leeks, Brussels tops, Rhubarb, Purple sprouting broccoli and Kale
If you are thinking 'Ah but rhubarb is a fruit' then tell me where the seeds are :-/


PS. The rhubarb is in a pie as it's his favourite and he's been working very hard and the kale was lovely!
