Not from the EcoBuild 2014 exhibition!

Last time I blipped a toilet it was a facsimile of Crapper's cistern. It seemed old-fashioned until we made a return visit to Sir Isaac Newton's childhood home of Woolsthorpe Manor, near Grantham in Lincolnshire this morning (where, on my previous visit, I blipped the famous apple tree in the garden.) I fancy the Newton family and their contemporaries would have been infintely more impressed by the benefits of Crapper's invention, as they sat here in their outhouse back in the 17th century!

On the other hand, with Newton's discovery that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, at least with these basic toilets, he won't have experienced 'splashback' (!)
