MALES ARE THE PRETTIEST

I believe it's an American Hooded Merganzer. The female is the hooded one. They did hold still for a little bit. Got two pics of the pair, but not so good. So you just get to see the boy.
I love these guys. They are diving ducks. I believe they eat little fish. Can really scoot down stream. Walk on water when they take off. Work their way slowly up stream, when fishing. I have mistaken the males for Salmon when swimming under water.
