Day 67: Prepping for tomorrow's double Eagle Cerem
Tomorrow our Boy Scout Troop will be holding a double Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony for two of our latest Eagle Scouts, David Houtz and Christopher Martini. We are expecting over well 100 people in attendance including many local, state and even national elected officials. One of the responsibilities I have (which I spent a bit of time today doing) is to compile into binders all the congratulation letters, certificates and proclamation that are sent to the Eagle Scouts from the elected officials and dignitaries who are unable to attend but still wish to honor these scouts. We receive letters from every living president, vice presidents, cabinet members, members of congress, governors, mayors, local officials, and even the Pope to name a few. We usually receive over 60 letters or certificates from various officials and organizations.
