Pretty weeds

I think this is golden rod. I was going to zoom in on the fuzzy end, but then liked how this whole scene looked.

Mild day, we got our shopping finished in good time and Mr M had a chance for a nap before heading off to work. I have to move the clocks ahead before going to bed so we are on schedule tomorrow - it's embarrassing to show up at church after the service is already over.

When I went to take Riley out tonight I realized he no longer had his collar on. I always let him roll around in the snow a bit when we take our walks and I think the collar must have come off during one of his rolling spells (I use a harness to walk him). So tomorrow we'll have to retrace our steps and see if I can find the collar with his registration tag on it. It's always something!
