Canterbury Welcome and an Alien in the hills.

After leaving Hokitika with glorious sunshine was met with clouds rolling over the hills near Porters Pass and driving down to Springfield was surrounded by heavy clouds. The drive home to Amberley was in grey drizzle. Anyway Hokitika was resplendent and is always a beautiful place to visit. Wandered around the recently rebuilt beach front and to the look out point where a large number of campers were cleaning up after the Wild Food Festival. Some people must have had a wild night.
