Closed Road

The weather was a bit rough and lots of cars got stuck on the way to Þingvellir, so they decided to close all mountain roads while the storm raged. After we saw it on the internet we went to see if they actually had a gate here in Hveragerði, because I had never noticed it while driving past. But there it was and like that was not enough they also had to SAR trucks guarding the gate, so people would not sneak past, which happened the other day, up north. People just don't seem to take notice of the gates...
