Arrived with the post yesterday (67/365)

Last year the Ministry of Defence issued the Arctic Star to Merchant Navy personnel who served on the Russian Convoys during the Second World War.

I applied on behalf my deceased father. I received this is the post yesterday.

The Arctic Star granted for service during the war of 1939-45.

My Dad died 21 years ago, he was 76.
