The mouth of the river

I had a brisk walk around the village and down to the shore this morning - a bracing walk in a biting NW wind, but a great day. The village river was torrential, and the surf was quite a bit up from yesterday's wind. I figured if I didn't get some exercise out of doors before today's rugby starts, I wouldn't get out today again! It is a beautiful spring day - once you are out of the wind!
