"Na-Nu Na-Nu"
Yippee! I finally made it - The BIG day has arrived.
Several of my earlier followers have fallen by the wayside and are no longer blippers but a huge thank you for those who have stayed the distance along with new recruits. Something I'm doing must be pleasing you because views have remained fairly stable throughout most of my time on here despite my poor commenting on on others. To be honest, this has been a personal challenge with the emphasis on doing my best to present a worthy image every day. The amount of time taken doing that generally leaves little to spare for socialising particularly when I have a heavy involvement with the local Art Club and I'm also active in the local Photographic Society.
My blipping has had several gaps along the way so I have not yet managed 365 consecutive blips - a target that I now hope to achieve in June.
Today's blip of course has a cryptic theme which should prove easy to figure out for those into cryptic crosswords. For those less fortunate, the answers will be revealed tomorrow.
Creating the image presented a little difficulty as the only colour of balloon available in the house was a silvery cyan one. Thank you GIMP for coming to the rescue.
Thank you everyone - my Blipping will continue - see you as usual late tomorrow evening.

Here is how the cryptic clues were to be solved:
--------------------------------------------------------
In all cryptic clues, the definition is either at the start or at the end (never in the middle) and the rest of the clue gives a second way of arriving at the answer. Cryptic crosswords should therefore be easier and you know you are right when the two answers are the same.
6a. Celebration of Communist party with nothing on the 1st of December, 2nd of January and 3rd of May. (3,6,3)
Celebration (definition)
Communist = RED
Party = BALL
Nothing = O
On = ON
1st letter of December= D
2nd letter of January = A
& the 3rd letter of May = Y
Altogether then we get RED BALLOON DAY
24a & 26a. New house and not a number of blips. (3,8)
New (indicates an anagram of)
'house and not' when anagrammed = ONE THOUSAND
A number of blips (definition)
Answer is therefore ONE THOUSAND
4d. Choices for the value of 6a for Mindy's roommate. (4)
In this one, the second way of arriving at the answer is actually another definition.
Choices for the value of 6a (definition 1) The number 1000 may be represented as M (Roman numeral) or K (Greek Kilo-)
Mindy's roommate (definition 2) was MORK in the old TV series 'Mork and Mindy'
= MorK
(The title of the Blip, "Na-Nu Na-Nu", was a further clue. It was Mork's regular greeting.)
Simples!
