My ray of sunshine in the rain

This has been the driest winter in Istanbul in a very long time. The reservoir is down to 34% of capacity, half of what it was last year, and the lowest in six years. Today's steady rain should help a little; it didn't stop for 24 hours and was not torrential enough to just wash into the Bosphorus.

All this to say that I had to walk Libby in full rain gear for only the second time this year. Me all in blue and her in yellow. Her slicker is way too small for her, despite having sent the online company reams of measurements. It does the job, however, keeping most of the rain and mud off her curiously absorbant fur, and making me feel like I'm walking a sunbeam.
