Project Garden 2014 - Day 3

As well as wooden constructed raised beds, we are have some masonry one built. This is as far as the Landscape Gardener got before rain stopped play. You can see that the clay sub soil is not letting any of the water drain away.

These beds are built using a system called Woodstone by Marshalls. The square one on the left will have a plum tree and the long one will have the blackcurrant bushes I planted last year which have survived being waterlogged. However they have survived the winter and new buds are forming.
