Hands

These are the hands of St Andrew in one of the peninsula church stained glass windows. I've never seen them this close up, with the details of the brush strokes over the skeletal detail of his hands. They are strangely corpse-like, for a representation of a living person. The window is by Webster, from the 1930s, one of the most modern in our mid-Victorian church.
