Something for the weekend

I spent this morning at the Leamington & Warwick Model Railway Show

Although it seemed a shame to be indoors on such a lovely morning the show was very good and I managed to get hold of a few key bits and pieces for my own layout.

One of my favourite layouts was this one, Earl's Court, which featured some very well modelled shopfronts like this hairdressers. Bear in mind the actual model shopfront is probably no more than an inch tall. I thought there was something Edward Hopper-ish about them.
