Back at work today after being on holiday in the sun for a week.

Scotland is cold and damp. It is also dark. I have been going swimming after work about three times a week during 2009. I have not noticed before that the pool has a light-up sign as it hasn't been dark enough to notice for quite some time.

It felt wrong to be in water without fins on after a week of diving.
