Strange Dutch Culture

There's probably more blips about Sinterklaas, but this one isn't about the fellow himelf, but the effect he/she/it has on children. It's extremely fascinating for them, but also really scary.
This little girl couldn't wait to go out and watch, but also was completely hyper when they came too close.

It seems most children have this kind of love/hate with figures like Santa Claus, Clowns (although they might be just scary and not interesting at all for some) and the likes.
