Broken

This was NOT what I needed this morning!
I was running late but decided to quickly make some toast that I could eat as a drive to work (to cover the mornings lessons for the head teacher). As I pulled out the small chopping board the large one toppled over knocking the glass bottle of very nice cordial off the shelf. It landed on its side with a flat thud then the beautiful thick red cordial oused out all over the floor. :(
I didn't have time to clean it up but I couldn't leave it as I couldn't cordon it off from Jewelz. Besides the rich liquid making her sick there was glass scattered all over it.
So a quick phone call and abandoning the idea of breakfast, out came the mop. The floor was still VERY sticky when I left but it was now safe. And I arrived at school at the same time as the children which wasn't bad going!
Hmmmm!!!
