Only a moment

Just for a moment I closed my eyes and imagined that the weather would stay this blissful for a few more weeks.

I have worked for most of the day and set off to the supermarket after 3 to grab some foody treats. I then sat on the sunny verandah and enjoyed eating them in the warm sunshine, so warm that the wood of the verandah was creaking quietly but happily :-) I then decided, as I haven't had time to fit in a walk and needed constructive fresh air, to prune the climbing roses...the new growth is starting so this could be a mistake!

Today I have mainly been writing/ identifying the bits to write about in my revised thesis. I have identified more reading to do but generally, despite things always taking longer than I predict, it has been a very successful and productive day. I have more to do still to reach my deadline so I must press on.

In other news I am feeling lots better now. I am on the coughing like an old man stage and sneezing my way through a toilet roll mountain. Vicks is still my new best friend, I've never known it to be that effective before but I'm liking its style at the moment. The good news is it is just a bad cold as the aches and shivers have gone- yipee!!!!
