Hawse end Jetty
Given the rain that the Lake District has endured over the winter, it's hardly surprising that water levels are high. On reaching the jetty - and the last time I was there it was about 4 feet clear of the water - the water was lapping over the jetty planks. I carefully walked out (wellies) until I could set the tripod up in about 2" of water, and gave a 30 second exposure (using the big stopper) to really smooth out the surface. A 0.6 hard-edged grad kept the sky detail present.
