Mystery

Here's the evening exodus of birds again. Tonight there were more than ever. Flocks and flocks of them flew over all coming from the same direction over by the river and all flying in a fairly tight band out to sea. My earlier guess about them seeking out deeper water doesn't hold as the tide was well in this evening. As far as I could see they were seagulls, but I'm sure I heard ducks and/or geese in the high up flocks. I wonder if there is somewhere they go across the channel, but that would mean they are commuting each day. Curious eh?

Thanks for the good wishes yesterday. I'm feeling much better today. The sun has been shining today and masses of people were out enjoying the sea. We went for a walk this afternoon and enjoyed getting out in the sun ourselves.
