Everything's coming up roses

Well some of my roses were coming up today, they were gifted to me unnamed and turned out to be too tall for the location I had them planted in so they have been swapped round with some lower growing types.


I have also cleaned out the greenhouse and repaired the damage done by the recent high winds, swept the patio and moved the monkshood, foxgloves and the lords and ladies.

I am now tired and sore, my arms are torn from the rose thorns even through my jersey but I am also extremely content. The crocus is one of the few that have managed to escape our local family of squirrels, all the time I spent collecting conkers for the bird table appears to have paid off.
