The Gnome and the Daffodil.

This photo has a little more meaning to me than just a toy gnome and a daffodil.
Some of you may remember this post from way back, about how my Grandad gave me this gnome shortly before he died of lung cancer - and this is my little Marie Curie daffodil. He wasn't cared for by them I don't think, but the meaning is there :-)

I am truly amazed at the care they can offer cancer patients these days - but a cure of some sort would be wonderful! Albeit, the care that the brilliant MC nurses, Bupa nurses and such like give is truly breathtaking. So if my £1 can help with that, then so be it :-)
