Nothing as Proud
What a fantastic day weather wise. The sun shone all day and it was 18 degrees this afternoon. I saw butterflies and bees, and countless other little creatures that all seemed to think that spring had well and truly sprung.
My afternoon was spend at Claythorpe Watermill and Wildfowl Garden, with Amy, Paige and Dean. Its the first time we have been this year, but it has only been open a couple of weeks. What a fantastic collection of photographs we have taken. Black swans, African crowned cranes, owls, ducks, geese, otters and lots of other birds and small animals. We were sad to see only one black swan, one has died over winter. then on that is left looked rather lonely , but as they mate for life a new companion can't be found for it for at lease eight months apparently.
Anyway a wonderful day with a massive choice of photographs all worthy of blipping - how come I either take nothing or end up taking ages choosing from a large collection? This peacock won out. Not the best photograph I've ever taken, probably not the best picture I've taken today, but this records the very first time I have seen a peacock in all it amazing glory. Again unedited because I am a bit of a purist, but I love it. The kids all have wonderful shots of this too!!!
