Pure Gold?

Galanthus 'Primrose Warburg' one of the so-called Yellow Snowdrops. Retailing for as much as £33 per bulb it takes gold to buy one!

Mine were a gift from a friend to whom I have gifted a few things over the years. It is one of the later snowdrops to flower here, at it's best today when the crocuses are mostly past theirs!

Primrose Warburg was a great plantswoman, wife of Prof Heff Warburg, co-author of the famous Flora of the British Isles.
