Taking flight ………….

Yesterday when we headed to Kelso I spotted hundreds of geese in a field near Smailholm Tower but …………… didn't have my camera. Today, we headed back out at the same time and lo and behold they were back and, even better, closer to the side road. As we got closer it was looking hopeful but as soon as we stopped this is what happened ……………… the whole field took flight and moved to the field further away. I'm almost sure they were Greylag Geese and I would guess at over a thousand. Quite a sight.
