Chalk creations

I came across this chalk creation on my walk to church this morning. Someone had certainly had some fun doing it and it put a smile on my face. I love stuff like this.... The creativity. The resourcefulness and the pure joy it brings others.

In other news.... Church was great.learning about how to be more generous with the many blessings we have been given. Then went on to enjoy a scrummie homemade student lunch of cottage pie and freshly baked Victoria sponge!! Delightful.

A stroll back home in the balmy spring weather with a spring in my step after a lovely chat with my friends. I asked one friend if she wants to go on holiday with me.... She was well chuffed and we both got very excited at the prospects!!

A chilled afternoon of reading and napping followed by a sad episode of 'call the midwife'.
