Spring is Spawning

We have a pond in our garden. It came with the house. It was described as a "wildlife pond", although we suspect it started life as a fish pond but was then left to go wild. No fish in it now though - I don't think they'd survive as the water is probably very old and the whole thing is full of old vegetation. Surprisingly given the state it's in, it has a very healthy frog population, and every year I know Spring is here when I see the first frog spawn appear.

It was a beautiful day today - warm and sunny. And when I checked the pond I saw this bumper crop. Spring is definitely here :)
