Cardiff

In Wales, March is the Month of the Daffodil. When I got there in early March, expecting the worst weather the world and I have ever seen, I got three days of brilliantly awesome sunshine and the warmest I have witnessed in Britain so far (maybe except for a week in July last year, but that doesn't really count).

In the background, you can see Cardiff Castle, which as a keep is as boring as any other keep, but the stuff they built around it is quite cool. You can see a bunch of old World War bomb shelters, the really impressive "house" next to the Castle, and you get quite a view from up there (although the skyline of Cardiff has been demolished heavily by the big spidery thing whose name I keep forgetting).
