On a camp-site near São Paulo this bright colored fellow, visited our barrack. As there are some nasty stinging caterpillars, I always keep this type of animal at bay, because if you're not a specialist, it is difficult to know if it is harmless or if it is a harmful one.
Normally the brighter the color, the more venom the animal has, but some look-a-likes copy the same colors, in order not to be attacked by predators.
