A good week to buy a camera.
Fully recovered after a fun night with some cool people immediately followed by a two hour train journey and a shift at work, waking up this morning to blazing sunshine and hot weather was pretty awesome. My grandmother had been into hospital yesterday so I figured I'd make a round trip to visit both grandparents, walking through the park again to try and get some more time in with the camera. The weather held out which was great, and after a 12 mile round trip (according to the magic of Google Maps) a Chinese takeaway felt pretty hard earned.
Despite getting some more nice shots in the park, I like this one from today, mostly because it was a complete fluke. I had headphones on so never heard the cart coming, so when I saw it I barely had time to get my camera out the bag nevermind prepare for the shot. I just about managed to flip the lens to AF and by some miracle the exposure settings were already set pretty well, so I just about managed to get in a decent shot. I also ran into Sutton Park's wild horses on both of my trips to the park, they seem to be becoming a recurring theme.
