My friend finally got her tipi uncovered and ready for guests.
A good place to stay when I'm up her way. It's way above the snowline so winter lasts longer there. If you've never stayed in a tipi, you would be surprised at how warm they can get. Just a small stove heats this one and it's very toasty even in winter. In the summer months, we raise the sides, but not at night....cool, crispy and too tempting for the frequent grizzly bears that wander through during the night.
