Copacabana Beach

We aren't really beach people, but we do like to see the beach and be beside the sea. Very occasionally (usually just once each visit here!) we enjoy an hour in the late afternoon and today was one of those days. We paid for the typical little deck chairs and two sunshades and settled down for an hour to enjoy the Brazilian beach life, where you can buy food, drink, sunglasses, bikinis, beach sarongs and all sorts of other things.

In the morning, we walked along to Ipanema to the Sunday hippy market to get a couple of wee pressies. We're back in the studio now for a rest and might go out for a bite later. We only had coffee and a pastry this morning - our lunch yesterday has lasted us till now!
