Road Trip day 19

Driving from Lordsburg, NM to Alamogordo, NM.
We visited White Sands National Monument. It was awesome and eye blinding.
So, in the middle of the Tularosa Basin there's this 275 square miles of desert with dunes of gypsum sand. You might want to visit in the Spring, instead of the summer, because it was awfully hot. We were sweating, applying sunscreen and then all the gypsum sand got in our clothes and shoes and stuck to our bodies. Fun when you want to play, not so much when you want to take awesome pictures.
