Back to Work

... and full on!
After a well deserved two week break it was this lovely girl's turn to get me back into the swing of things. She is a real sweetie but rather huge and also very enthusiastic/clumsy. She arrived literally dragging her mum behind on the leash, I mean, who cares if the back of the truck is still open when you're about to get pampered for hours!

Some fun facts about grooming a Bernese Mountain Dog for those interested:
- it takes 3 hours to completely groom a Bernese MD
- it takes 1 litre of shampoo to clean a Bernese MD
- it takes 1/2 litre of conditioner to get a Bernese MD fluffy and silky
- the brushed out dead hair of 1 Bernese MD fills 4 supermarket plastic bags
- a Bernese MD drops about 1 litre of drool/hour, well this is not really a fact but an estimate. The floor was definitely wet enough to warrant mopping in between for safety reasons ;D
