Bonkers pair of pinks
It's been a gorgeous sunny Sunday. Me Pink had to do an emergency dash to help his dad out this morning leaving us without a car; so we enjoyed the sunshine and walked/biked/scooted to church. We arrived a few minutes late, but the sunshine was beautiful. It was family service this week so we all stayed together, and we're joined by Goddaughter 2 for most of the service.
After church, and with Mr Pink back, we did a trip to the garden centre. The mini pinks are really excited about their veg patch, so we went off in search of seeds and some pretties for the flower border. Miss Pink has a very eclectic taste (as you can see by her choice of outfit today), so she chose blue poppies, red poppies, tomatoes, and a primrose. Master pink chose parmex carrots, peas and cucumber, and a purple-blue primrose. I got some seed potatoes to start off chitting. Anything else we need can wait until the other two patches are cleared and dug over!
We spent the afternoon in the garden tidying and planting, with a visit from god sons 2 and 3.
And then I did the ironing. Ugh!
