MonoMonday:Architecture - The Shed

This is "The Shed" on our farm. It is the 3rd level accommodation option. There is an original cottage (c 1890s) - it is supposed to have a mud brick or two somewhere but is mostly fibro - which we renovated last year. There is a 1980s kit home which John's parents built as they considered the old house uninhabitable, and this shed apparently constructed in about the 1950s as a "granny flat". For years it was inhabited by birds and rats and our son said there was no point trying to do it up it as "no one would ever sleep there".
But we did.
On the cheap.
Relined it and put 4 or 5 layers of estapol on the new plywood floor. We even installed reverse cycle air conditioning (the only unit we have there or at home). There is a double sofa bed one end separated from the other end, which has double bunks and a single bed, by a sliding door. Ensuite facilities are situated in either the old house or kit home.
So now I think it is quite comfortable enough for a weekender.
And my brother pronounced it million star rating as that's what you can see out the window on a clear night.

This is for the MonoMonday:Architecture theme for this week, moderated by Hobbs.
