West End Pond

Manic Monday - groceries, walk the dog, leave the dog at home to go to the pond to get some photos, emails, ironing...oh good it's lunch time.

I decided to get some of the morning sunshine on this pond, and to use my tripod and big stopper ND filter to smooth the water. After all the faffing with the tripod, setting up the camera on it, and more faffing with the 10 stop ND filter (that you cannot see through) I ended up with this. But then I was not sure if I preferred the shot with ripples in the water.

After the glorious summer's day yesterday (it got to 17C) today is a bit cooler and now has turned cloudy, but we are in for a lovely week. Spring is definitely here!
