What's with your hair?
We went to the mud flats for low tide today. Beautiful this morning and lots of shore birds to see. I chose these two Snowy Egrets to blip. Identified by their black bills, black legs, and yellow feet. Oh my, I'm learning so much. Anyway, the Egret with the long plumage also known as "breeding" plumage landed into the female's space. She had been happy and snacking contentedly. She immediately squawked loudly and chased him away, not wanting any amorous advances. He flew away in search of another that may be more amenable to his advances.
Happy Monday!
