Heaven's waiting lounge

I am in Aarhus, Denmark for a couple of days, doing two presentations to different groups of librarians. I had to change planes at Copenhagen, and the connecting flight was at the end of this long, cathedral like corridor. It reminded me of scenes in films when the protagonist finds themselves about to enter heaven "Wait, it's not my turn!"
