Gable Ends: Partick

E and me still not feeling great. But well enough for an excursion into the city. We parked the car at Partick and took the train from there. No shortage of possible blips. In Argyle Street, the South American (???) buskers with their pan pipes sounded really great. But they are not authentic enough: trainers and American Indian head-dresses and too much backing track. But the gable ends just by Partick Station, painted to advertise and celebrate the Commonwealth Games, do their job most effectively. Its good to see gable end painting on the increase and even better to see it used in this way.
