Brave Little Flower

This little sunshine grows in between 2 paving stones on our driveway! Can you believe that? Underneath the paving stones is a thick layer of black plastic, the only possible soil there will be dust that gathered there in the past 5 years! But this sweetie just appeared there and bloomed just there! Another miracle by Mother Nature! God bless!

Oh dear Blip Friends, please pray for us, the Northern parts of South Africa are experiencing the most horrifying floods, for about 2 weeks already! Our own little town's streets are damaged beyond repair already and Pretoria and Johannesburg areas are totally washed away, close to Bellabella (previously Warmbaths) just 123km from us, a big dam wall broke and swept away a whole Holiday Resort, namely Klein Kariba, we saw a video clip of luxury cars, fridges and trailers being swept away with the floods, an elderly couple were relaxing in the luxurious enclosed and heated swimming pool when they were swept away by the flood, search and rescue teams were working non-stop since Friday the 7th, but still couldn't find her body!

I feel like nothing is ever going to be normal again! The Oscar Pistorius Trial is very upsetting for me, as a grandmother, I can't help it, I FEEL for that young man and his family, although I realise that it was the most horrifying thing that happened and I feel for Reeva's family as well! Then, to top all of this mind blowing feelings, we have the floods and I worry constantly about Ronnie jr because the roads he must travel to University are flooded as well, and you never know when one of the alternative roads they use might also be flooded, and you read and hear on the news about people losing everything they had, and loss of life as well, the poor are even more devastated! Eish!

Please Lord, help our country and our people! Amen!
