yesterday I was listening to something on the radio about new economic models. One rather utopian idea was that we should forget about economic growth, all work less. have a guaranteed basic income and do more voluntary work in the community. This is something I would be very happy to sign up for immediately. To show willingness, I went past someone's house on the way home from work, while they were at work, and pruned their roses and the bush that was taking over the pathway for them. (They did know that I was going to do it, I offered because they don't know how to do it themselves) As evidence, I have brought home a twig. Lots of twigs in fact, as they will be perfect for my peas to climb up. That's how the world without money works.
