Mountain

Some of you may remember my love of freshly ironed linen.

A few days ago I came home to find the boiler - which is at the top of my airing cupboard - had sprung a leak. The floor was saved by the mass of sheets and towels absorbing the water.

Today the plumbers came and sorted the boiler. I LOVE plumbers, indeed I love workmen, anyone who can tackle stuff that's beyond me. I had intended to blip them at their work but, in my excitement, clean forgot. Thanks guys, great job.

Sadly their services do not include restorative laundry work. This mountain of grubby linen will have to wait for a dry day or two for a mammoth laundry session. Ah well, much worse things happening in Cumbria.
