It was another beautiful day in Milan so spent the majority of it chilling in Parco Sempione, which was packed with Italians and tourists alike. Although the carnevale celebrations seemed to have died down a little, confetti still covered the streets. We finally made it up the Torre Branca which has the second highest view point in Milan, and it is really quite the view. We timed it perfectly so we got to see it in the late afternoon light and there was a haze over the city (hoping it was something to do with the heat more than high levels of pollution). Despite the sun starting to go down by the time we got back to the Duomo, we still managed to pick up a gelato before heading back towards Navigli. And of course, ended up going 'via' Navigli for a quick drink which then turned into dinner at a pizzeria...
