Back in the Mudroom!

Well, after almost 3 months of lollygaggin' i got over to the studio around 10 am, it was -5 degrees!!! Once i got the wood stove going it only took about 1/2 hour to get it up to a comfortable 7-8 degrees.....and with all the floor sweeping and other cleaning going on, i was plenty warm enough!

Got started throwing the ugly mugs......and had a wonderful visit from a friend of mine, Leah! We chatted away - her sitting by the fire, me throwing mugs! Then a very hearty lunch, beet soup and homemade bread (onion and olive!), she brought sugar pie - OH MY - it was outrageous! then back to the studio. I managed to get 32 of the 75 needed so that's a good start. As i was leaving the studio, the light hitting my little work area caught my eye!

It's kinda nice to be back in the saddle!
